Mallory Elizabeth Knighten was born yesterday at 1:52 pm at Brookwood Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs and 1 oz and is 22 inches long (she's going to be tall!!). She gave us all a little scare though. Sarah was scheduled to be induced for a natural delivery, but Mallory's heart rate kept dropping and she was just not responding to the drip. On the doctor's last attempt, Mallory's heart rate dropped to 40 and they had to perform an emergency C-section. They got her out in seven minutes and she was perfectly healthy!!! She is a gorgeous baby and I am so thrilled to be an aunt again!!! Mallory is the first one that I have been able to see at birth!!! She is such a blessing, and looks so much like her Daddy!!! Mommy, Daddy and little Mal are all doing great!
