Back to School.

Today is the official first day of my very last semester as an undergraduate!!!! Although I did not want to come to school today, it is also a reminder that I am just one step closer to my degree!!! Only four and a half months to go! The good news is that because I have taken so many classes over the past three and a half years and never taken a summer off, I only have three classes two days a week! Luckily, it should be a very easy semester compared to previous ones :)

New Year's in Gatlinburg!!!

This New Year's, Jordan and I decided to go to Gatlinburg for a little getaway. This used to be a yearly trip for me and my family, but Jordan had never been. I really wanted him to see all of the amazing attractions that the Smokey's has to offer. We have had a great time and have done so many things. We have been to two dinner shows, including the DIxie Stampede which is my favorite!! We have walked up and down Gatlinburg, rode around Cades Cove, and absolutely stuffed ourselves with peanut butter fudge!! Im not quite ready to come home just yet, but we are very ready to see our families and little Roxi who is staying with her Nona (my mom)!!

Christmas 2008!!

Jordan and I just celebrated our very first Christmas together since we have been married!!! We had a wonderful and very busy holiday that began at my Mom's for Christmas Eve. We had such a great time with all of our family and friends. On Christmas, we got up very early and I cooked breakfast for me, Jordan, Mom and Dad while we all opened presents. Our favorite present was a 42" Phillips LCD TV ;) After that, we went and ate yet another Christmas breakfast at Jordan's grandparent's house in Dora. Then, we were off for lunch at my grandmother's house and our final stop was my father-in-law's house in Corner. Needless to say, it was a very long day but a great one. It was my favorite Christmas yet and I know that Jordan and I will have many many more to come! We are so blessed!
